From the project’s founding white paper, “Treasure is a decentralized NFT ecosystem on Arbitrum that is built specifically for metaverse projects.” Built on Arbitrum, one of Ethereum's leading layer two scaling solutions, Treasure's decentralized ecosystem is governed by the TreasureDAO and through its native token $MAGIC.

Treasure has multiple functions, and that’s where new users can get tripped up. Treasure is a metaverse, a marketplace, and an NFT. The center of Treasure DAO is BridgeWorld, a metaverse world where Legions reside and where most of the activities happen. Legions are NFTs that represent a player's character in BridgeWorld and can be used to participate in various activities and earn other NFT props and $MAGIC.

This chapter will delve into BridgeWorld's game system, and BridgeWorld's unique token economics that make the game extremely important to Treasure Dao. image3.png BridgeWorld has six locations, including mining places (Atlas Mine & Harvester), barracks, summoning circle, ivory tower, forge, and pilgrimage.

  2. Barracks
  3. Summoning Circle
  4. Ivory Tower
  5. Forge
  6. Pilgrimage

1. Mining places (Atlas Mine & Harvester)

The initial issuance of $MAGIC comes from the Genesis Mine, where users can stake Loot, MAGIC-ETH LP tokens, AGLD, and Treasure NFT to obtain $MAGIC.

Atlas Mine is the successor to the Genesis Mine, where users need to stake $MAGIC to mine more $MAGIC. The longer the stake period, the higher the user's basic computing power, with a minimum lock-up period of 2 weeks and a maximum of 12 months.

Users can also increase their computing power by staking Legions, Treasure NFT, and other NFT props (consumables). Computing power is used to calculate a player's share of the total mining computing power. Having high mining computing power enables users to earn more $MAGIC rewards but does not increase the overall $MAGIC issuance in the ecosystem.

The Harvester is used to compete with users who stake $MAGIC to obtain $MAGIC. The Harvester can increase computing powerby 3.3 times. Players can use the forge to craft Harvester Parts, which can be combined into a Harvester with six different functions. However, it may not always take six times to craft a Harvester.

Players who use the Harvester for mining can also increase their computing power by staking various props. Therefore, the Harvester will become the primary mining tool in the future. With the introduction of the Harvester, mining will become more challenging, requiring players to develop an excellent strategy to achieve higher returns than other players. This also makes the presence of guilds necessary because for most players, joining a guild is easier than devising a strategy.

2. Barracks

Players can spend 10 $MAGIC to recruit a new recruit here to experience BridgeWorld. To fully experience all the features of BridgeWorld, players must hold at least one Legion. Legions are divided into Legion Genesis and Legion Auxiliary, with the cheapest Legion Auxiliary having a floor price of 210 $MAGIC, nearly $210.

Recruiting new recruits can lower the entry barrier to BridgeWorld, but new recruits have many restrictions. They can only participate in the academy in the ivory tower to learn skills, and cannot mine or purchase valuable NFT props. However, they can earn $MAGIC rewards by participating in tasks and activities.

3. Summoning Circle

In the Summoning Circle, players can use $MAGIC to summon various creatures to participate in battles, complete tasks, and explore BridgeWorld. Each creature has different attributes and skills that can be combined to form a powerful team. The Summoning Circle is also a place to obtain rare NFT props, including precious gemstones and magical items.

4. Ivory Tower

The Ivory Tower is one of the most important places in BridgeWorld, containing several academies where players can learn various skills. The academy's skills include combat, mining, exploration, and manufacturing. These skills can help players better fight, mine, explore, and manufacture in BridgeWorld. Learning in the academy requires spending $MAGIC and time, and players need to choose the appropriate skills based on their needs and situation.

The Ivory Tower is also one of the places in BridgeWorld where the most players gather. Players can make friends, form guilds, exchange strategies, and share experiences here.

5. Forge

The Forge is the manufacturing center of BridgeWorld, where players can craft various NFT props, including Harvester Parts, creatures, gemstones, and magical items. Crafting requires spending $MAGIC and materials, which can be obtained through exploration and battles in BridgeWorld or purchased or traded.

Crafting in the Forge is a crucial gameplay element because it can help players obtain rare NFT props and improve their strength and competitiveness in BridgeWorld.

6. Pilgrimage

The Pilgrimage is a mysterious and sacred place inBridgeWorld, where players need to complete a series of tasks and challenges to reach. In the Pilgrimage, players can obtain very rare and valuable NFT props, as well as other rewards and titles.

The challenges in the Pilgrimage are very difficult, requiring players to have very high strength and skills to complete. However, once the challenge is completed, players will receive very generous rewards and honor.

Unique Tokenomics that makes BridgeWorld important to Treasure DAO

The overall design logic of Treasure DAO is to allow players to play games to obtain Magic, a unique form of PoW. Some people may have questions about this, as it seems similar to Play-to-Earn (P2E), but there are still differences. The underlying logic of P2E is to attract players to play games by issuing tokens, while Treasure DAO is attracting players by issuing tokens to increase liquidity.

The core purpose of playing games is liquidity. The craze brought about by DeFi 2.0 shows the power of liquidity innovation. Liquidity is the foundation of a project, and the stronger the liquidity, the more confident and capable the project will be. Treasure DAO is currently building a foundation, and the stronger the foundation, the more confident the future will be.

Firstly, Treasure DAO abstracts LPs. It abstracts liquidity into a tangible thing, crystals (Balancer Crystals), allowing users to ignore the fact that they are providing LPs and instead focus on playing games.

Crystals can be used to summon Legions or staked in the Ivory Tower to let the system automatically complete tasks for players. In other words, the reward corresponding to LPs is a certain NFT asset, rather than tokens like in other projects. This is an innovative LP incentive.

For example, traditional LP incentives reward project tokens, such as Uniswap's UNI, which requires a high APY to attract users. This also brings about high inflation, miningand selling pressure, coin price drops, APY decreases, LP withdrawals, and a death spiral, causing most projects to fail.

In contrast, Treasure DAO's LP incentives are NFT assets. These assets can be used to play games, accelerate mining efficiency, unlock other tasks, and more. Because the reward is not Magic, there is no direct selling pressure on Magic.

The NFT assets obtained from playing games can also be sold to users who only mine, providing a way for these assets to be taken over.

This is a significant improvement over traditional LP incentives. The project aims to build a long-term mechanism rather than immediate liquidity, so it has chosen a model that can create slow and sustained liquidity growth.

Additionally, NFTs can accelerate the mining of Magic, turning them into productive assets. This is important for new NFT projects that may not be very well-empowered during the initial launch and may have unstable prices. If users can use NFTs to mine Magic on Treasure DAO, it can help stabilize the price. Treasure DAO is laying the foundation for ecological projects.

Conclusion

In summary, BridgeWorld is a very rich and interesting metaverse world where players can experience various gameplay elements such as mining, combat, exploration, manufacturing, and pilgrimage, and can obtain rare and valuable NFT props and $MAGIC. Additionally, the guild and social elements in BridgeWorld are also very important, as players can cooperate and compete with other players to promote the development and growth of BridgeWorld.
